This week, MileSplit's Cory Mull sat down with Foot Locker Nationals contender Ryan Pajak, a returning All-American from the race and a senior at Ringgold High School. Pajak is among a crop of esteemed Notre Dame signees who will also compete on Saturday -- fellow Pittsburgh native Drew Griffith and Brebeuf Jesuit senior Cameron Todd.
Hailing from just south of Pittsburgh, Pajak is currently undefeated on the year and is coming off a win at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional, where he clocked a winning time of 14:51.
Pajak discusses his ambitions for Foot Locker, his thoughts heading into the race and some very cool connections he has with a Hall-of-Famer from his hometown.
