Men's NCAA D1 Great Lakes Regional 

Indiana showed its depth at the NCAA D1 Great Lakes Regional with 5 universities placing in the top 8 overall. Butler led the way winning the championship, Notre Dame finished 4th, Purdue in 6th, IU Bloomington in 7th, and IU Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 8th out of the 30 team field.

Other Indiana based Universities included
Indiana State (16th), Valparaiso (20th), and Purdue Fort Wayne (23rd). The University of Southern Indiana is still in their D1 transition period which prohibits NCAA championship competition and The University of Evansville did not field a full team.

Both IU Bloomington and IU Indianapolis were the only schools in the championship to have their entire 7 lineups consist of former Indiana High school athletes.
