Boys team results merge from all 4 classification races at the 2023 FHSAA State Championships.
The 4A boys race turned out to be the most competitive and deepest race of the day as 5 of the top 7 teams in the merge came out of that race alone.
The Nease boys won their program's first ever state team title after enjoying individual champions over last 4 years as they hoisted the 4A state championship trophy on Saturday.
The Nease boys had a fierce battle with Buchholz at both the regional and state level splitting wins in both races, but winning the most important one thanks to their depth and finish of their fifth man Nate Corkan in 16:28 for 48th place as there was a burst of points displacers in the 15 seconds between him and Buchholz's fifth man Calum Watson timed at 16:42 in 71st place.
