The Dillard girls have had the best 4x800 meter relay in the state over the last two years including a state record 9:03 performance two springs ago, but it appears now are positioning themselves to be just as great at the 5K distance in cross country.
Last year's 3A state runners-up in cross country, the Dillard girls competed in their first major invitational of the season at the Spanish River Invitational and scored a resounding team win with only 52 seconds separating their top 5 runners Christiana Coleman (18:41), Peyton Williams (18:49), Miley Gill (19:01), Shynah Collins (19:10), and Raquel Edwards (19:34). Their fifth runner Edwards is a five minutes flat miler!
