The times are starting to drop in September.
This weekend saw a handful of elite performances in Alabama, Montana, Georgia, Indiana and Texas, including from the likes of Ethan Edgeworth, Nathan Neil and Tommy Latham (above). Latham, a junior at Marist High School, scorched the field at the AT&T Starr's Mill Panther meet with a winning time of 14:54.40, while Addison Knoblauch, a senior from Homestead (IN), was the only girl in the country this past week to drop a sub-17 minute performance for 5K.
