Analysis: As a sophomore, Wisniewski put herself out there as one of the best distance runners in Oregon and she proved she could toe the line with some of the best athletes on the national stage.
During the fall, Wisniewski set a 5K personal best of 17:24 at her conference championships. She was able to defend her OSAA cross country state title before finishing fourth at the Northwest Regional Championships. When she competed at NXN, she finished 27th with a 17:50 performance.
At the outdoor state championships, Wisniewski defended her 3K title with a lifetime best of 9:28. The Crescent Valley (OR) junior also finished as the runner-up in the 1,500m with another personal best of 4:31.
She challenged herself at Nike Outdoor Nationals where she was second t in the 5K with a new personal best and state record of 16:10. In the spring, Wisniewski also set personal bests of 4:52 in the mile and 10:24 in the two mile.
