It's been another solid week of cross country this weekend.
Cherry Creek's (CO) senior Daniel Hruska was one of the high school boys this weekend to break 15 minutes in the 5K. In his season debut, he set a new lifetime best of 14:49 to win the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational.
On the girls side, Elizabeth Leachman of Boerne Champion (TX) put together a jaw dropping performance. At the Westlake Chaparral Invitational, the sophomore ran a 16:34, improving on her personal best by over 90 seconds.
