Analysis: After finishing sixth at the Colorado 5A State Cross Country Championships, Michalak and the Air Academy (CO) girls team qualified for NXN. In Oregon, she had a breakthrough race as she finished third at nationals with a 16:55 season best in the 5K. This year, Michalak wil be the top returner from this meet.
