Analysis: It was a solid 2022 season for the Tigers.
At the PIAA 3A State Championships, North Allegheny dominated the competition by earning 60 points to win the title. The squad was able to grab the victory with a 58 point margin. Collectively, North Allegheny finished with a 76-second split and a 19:36 average.
The Tigers competed at NXR Northeast Regionals in New York and were able to beat strong teams like Union Catholic and Haddonfield Memorial. North Allegheny became regional champions with 23 points and a 19:20 average.
To wrap up the cross country season, North Allegheny finished 15th at NXN. This team enters 2023 with a solid foundation as they will return their top runner, Wren Kucler, and five others from the national championship.
