FHSAA 2A Girls Fastest 1,000 XC Individual Returnees

The door is open for a new girls cross country individual champion in the 2A classification with the graduation of Jillian Candelino, who won titles in 2021 and 2022. One runner among that pack of hopefuls already won a state title this past spring in the 1600 meter run in Pine Crest senior Brooke Hooper as she is looking to keep that momentum going into this fall against a loaded 2A girls field contenders.
