For most high school athletes, their outdoor seasons began in March or early April and concluded with state meets in May or June.
But others decided to prolong their seasons by competing in national meets, including the AAU Junior Olympic Games that took place this month in Des Moines, Iowa.
Below, we look at five boys recruits who performed well at the AAU meet and showed they'll be gaining attention from major college programs.
