One year down, three more to go.

Last year as freshmen, many boys stood out on the cross country course. Caden Leonard of Carroll (TX) ran the fastest three-mile time for the incoming sophomore class as he ran 14:43.20 at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic. Later in ths season he finished sixth at the UIL Cross Country State Championships.

When it comes to the 5K distance, Owen Clemons of Cleveland (TN) was one of two boys in his class who dipped under 15:10 as he ran a 15:01.90 in October. Closely behind him was also Leonard who ran 15:08 to finish fourth at the UIL 6A - District 4 meet.

Who are the other incoming sophomore boys who have an opportunity to improve and return as one of the fastest in the class? Check out the links below to see the top 1,000 rising sophomore boys this year.
