Over the past week, the nation's best high school track athletes competed at national championship outdoor meets.

It was a chance to see how they fared in high-pressure situations against the best prep competition most would face all year.

Below, we look at five girls (in alphabetical order) who shined in their events and helped or solidified their college recruiting profiles. We did not include members of the Class of 2023 because they have already made their college decisions.
