The senior class of boys is loaded with all-around sprinters this year, but none can match Tavon Underwood.
Underwood, a senior from Mead (CO), recently laid waste to the Colorado State meet by winning the 200m, 400m and 800m. He was also second in the 100m. He recorded winning times of 20.93 in the 200m, 45.36 in the 400m and 1:51.97 in the 800m. The Kansas State commit's 400m time is currently U.S. No. 1 in the nation.
But here is what else is fascinating about his performance.
In terms of combined talent in the 100m, 200m and 400m, he is tops in the country, too.
The top underclassmen are junior Micahi Danzy of Florida (FL) HS, sophomore Peyton Sommers of Cherokee Trail (CO) and freshman Kobe Dooley of Vista Ridge (CO).
