Key West senior Savannah Chadic has made a considerable leap in performance from last year when she was finishing 10th in the state meet with a time of 58 seconds in the 400 meter dash. On Wednesday at the FHSAA 2A Region 4 meet in Fort Lauderdale, Chadic certainly established herself as a state title contender in the 400 with a 55.69 clocking, while also winning the 200 meter dash in 24.59. Both times were just off her PR's of 55.43 in the 400 and 24.46 in the 200 from her district meet two weeks ago.
