Six years.

That's how long it had been since Eyota Bey last executed on an 800m outdoor PR.

In fact, Bey, now a Cheltenham (PA) High School senior, was a sixth-grader at that point in 2017.

But there' not time to shine like the present.

Bey, who had pocketed a 56-second open 400m just a week prior, dropped a career best 2:10.08 at The New York Relays, dominating the event and taking home a new U.S. No. 24 performance.

It marked a 12-second improvement from her last 800m, an outdoor performance of 2:22 in November of last year.

She was arguably the stand-out performer of the entire meet.

Elsewhere, Harry S. Truman's Anthony Collins, a junior from Levittown (PA), authored a time of 53.29 in the 400mH, which is a new U.S. No. 2 performance.
