Who are the most improved girls pole vaulters of 2023?
Based on the numbers we compiled, we have a total of eight athletes who have improved by at least two feet -- which is a stark difference year-over-year.
Of those eight, Katy Cinco Ranch's Kayla Byrd has shot up the highest, clearing 12 feet, 3 inches at the Bubba Fife Relays in February. That's an improvement of two feet and three inches.
The first 13-foot vaulter on the list is Katelyn Andrews of The Woodlands College Park. The senior from Texas has cleared 13-feet twice over the spring season, though she hit a PR of 13-3 in March at the Seven Lakes Relays. She's boosted her PR by one foot and three inches.
Even the nation's top vaulter, Hana Moll, appears on this list, having cleared 15-feet at the Arcadia Invitational just a few weeks ago. That's an improvement of just over six inches.
