The primetime matchup set for the girls 100 meter hurdles at the Pepsi Florida Relays on Friday was as good as advertised.
While the early edge may have gone to Pembroke Pines Somerset Academy (FL) sophomore Aleesa Samuel, who led through six hurdles, the second half of the race belonged to Bullis School's Myla Greene.
The Tennessee recruit took over with just a few hurdles left and took down Samuel, scoring a major win in a wind-legal 13.48 (+1.6) seconds. Samuel, the indoor national champion at 60mH, was second in 13.49.
