AUSTIN, TX. -- As the saying goes, records are meant to be broken.
And this weekend at Mike Myers Stadium, let's just say a few all-time marks at the Texas Relays could go down.
From the 100m to the 1,600m, perhaps over to the 300mH, and maybe even the 4x100m and high jump, they're all in jeopardy. This year's crop of high school boys at the Texas Relays will not only contend for titles, but they could also go after history.
For what it's worth, some all-time marks are safe, like Sam Worley's 4-minute mile in 2017, Hawthorne's 4x400 time of 3:07 from 1985 and Houston Strake Jesuit's effort of 7:41 in the 4x800 from 2016.
