Tyra Cox of Chaminade-Madonna leads all sophomores in the state with a season best 400 meter time of 54.71 from the Ellis Elite 16 Invitational. Cox also ranks second fastest amongst 10th graders in both the 100 (12.04) and 200 (24.19) behind only 100 meter hurdles state record holder Aleesa Samuel.
