Just a couple of weeks ago, Aidan Dixon turned some heads when he clocked a time of 46.95 seconds at the Florida Indoor Championships.
He was the first -- and still is the the only athlete -- under 47 seconds for the distance.
Well, the University of South Florida signee continued that momentum at the East Coast Classic this weekend when he completely dominated the one-lap race, setting a new lifetime best of 46.95.
He looked smooth doing it, too.
But that wasn't all Dixon did this weekend.
He was also part of the Port Orange Atlantic (FL) 4x400m team.
When Dixon received the baton, he was about three seconds behind Flagler Palm Coast (FL). In any other race, many would have thought it was already over because of how much of a cushion the leaders produced.
But Dixon was the anchor leg.
On the final straightaway, the fastest boy in America in the 400m closed strong and fast and was able to cross the finish line in first with an official time of 3:17.47 to Flagler Palm Coast's 3:17.91.
* Aidan Dixon anchored Port Orange Atlantic to the 4x400m team title with a 3:17.47 to be US No. 4
