History repeated itself.
North Carolina native Shawnti Jackson clocked the fastest 60m time in high school history on Saturday with a time of 7.16 at the Millrose Games inside the Armory Track.
It came a year after she first accomplished the feat at the same meet with a performance of 7.18.
The 17-year-old held her own as she finished fifth overall with a new personal best and a new national high school record of 7.16.
Jackson's resume now owns the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 9 all-time fastest performances at the distance.
Earlier this year, the South Granville (NC) senior and Arkansas recruit claimed her second national high school record in the 300m with a time of 36.63 and eclipsed Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's previous best.
