At the 115th Millrose Games, a handful of high school athletes stole the show with top performances.

Once again, the nation was able to witness one of the fastest 60m performances in high school history. Shawnti Jackson of South Granville (NC) lowered her national record in the 60m to a 7.16 to finish fifth overall against a professional field. That was two-hundredths of a second faster than her performance last year.

Then, in one of the most electrifying races of the night, Rocky Hansen and Connor Burns put together two of the top mile performances this season.

In the George Hirsch men's mile, Hansen finished fifth overall with a new personal best of 4:00.84 and improved on his US No. 1 time. Despite running the majority of his race in lanes two and three, he still ran the seventh-fastest time in high school history.

At one point, though, Burns took control of the race.

The Oregon signee came across the line as the eighth-fastest miler Saturday afternoon with an effort of 4:03.28.

Collectively as a team, Montverde Academy (FL) continued to dominate the sprints and jumps by setting several meet records.

In the long jump, Micah Larry rewrote the record books with his leap of 24-11.75 to grab the title on his third attempt. So far this season, he has competed in four competitions and each time he's cleared performances over 24-3.

In the Scopia girls 60m, the dynamic duo Micayah Holland and Adaejah Hodge continued to dominate. Holland won the title with the meet record -- which was set by Kaila Jackson of Track Life University last year -- with a time of 7.24, while Hodge was close behind for second with a 7.29.

In the boys race, Texas A&M recruit Issam Asinga won the title by three-hundredths of a second in 6.63.

In the Debevoise girls 600m, Michelle Smith clocked a time of 1:29.52, making her the second girl this season to break through the 1:30 barrier. She also became the ninth-fastest girl at the distance in history.

The nation's fastest at 400m, Zyaire Nuriddin, dropped down to the 300m this weekend. He clocked a time of 33.46 to set a new record. Senior Riley Novack lined up in the mile and finished with a time of 4:17.35 to finish 11th overall in the high school race.
