Montverde Academy's Michelle Smith could be a state champion in several events this spring, but she will ultimately have to narrow down her choices despite her great versatility and range as a top returnee in the 2A classification for the 400 meter dash (56.49 outdoor PR), 800 meter run (2:10.93), 100 meter hurdles (14.19), 300 meter hurdles (41.56), and a Carifta Games champion as well as World U20 Champs finalist in the 400 meter hurdles.
