This summer, Bozeman (MT) cross country coach Casey Jermyn may have had to stop for a second to pat himself on the back. Coaching can sometimes feel like its a 24-7 occupation, full of days spent training young athletes through various regiments, recoveries, injuries, mental tests, emotional ones and everything else. That's one part of the job. 

But teams just don't grow on trees, either. When you convince a runner or two join your team? That's a job well done.

And for Jermyn, that's exactly what happened this summer. He was able to flip two runners, Weston Brown and Nathan Neil, from soccer and to cross country after the pair had shown tremendous promise over the track season.
