To kick off the indoor season, Chelsea's (AL) Cady McPhail ran her first 800m of the season at the Holiday Invitational #1 meet in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Auburn signee ran an US No. 1 performance in the 800m with 2:15.60 and was able to cross the finish line three seconds ahead of the rest of the field in the four-lap race.
Throughout the week, the AHSAA 800m indoor defending champion was named the National Girls Performer Of The Week when she earned 40 percent of the popular vote.
Now after an exciting year of cross country, it's time to switch gears as the indoor season is officially in full swing across the country and vote for this week's indoor NPOTW.
The poll will end on Friday and winners will be announced the following Monday. It's now time to vote for our next winner.

Madison Whyte, Heritage Newport (VA): The USC signee clocked a 7.04 in the 55m and 38.41 in the 300m to win the Grant Holloway Holiday Invitational.
Sharmelle Holmes, Dreamchaserz TC (SC): The junior ran a new personal best and US No. 1 time in the 55m with a 6.91 at the Coaches Hall Of Fame Invitational.
Ellie Keefer, West Cheser Rustin (PA): At the Coaches Hall Of Fame Invitational, Keefer clocked this week's fastest mile performance of 5:08.18 at the Coaches Hall Of Fame Invitational.
Kennedy Flynn, Bullis School (MD): In New York, Flynn set a new lifetime best in the 55mH with an 8.03.
Avery Lewis, Friends' Central (PA): At the Bishop Loughlin Games, Lewis grabbed two victories as she clocked a new personal best in the 300m with a 38.60 and long jumped 19-6.
Tyler Glover, Ardrey Kell (NC): Glover threw a new lifetime best in the shot put to grab the win at the COROS Holiday Classic with a throw of 46-6.
