With the indoor track season nearly upon us, the bar is set high as athletes take to the track coming off of rather impressive performances last year.
Some nationally-elite talents return to the indoor oval at the top of the rankings in the 200m and 300m.
Those names include Nyckoles Harbor of Archbishop Carroll in the 200m and Mekhi Gammons from Hialeah-Miami Lakes (FL) in the 300m, returning with times of 20.79 and 34.40, respectively, to lead on the boys side.
Among the top girls sprinters, it's Lake Oswego's (OR) Mia Brahe-Pedersen who returners with the fastest 200m time of 23.44, and Wakefield senior Shawnti Jackson takes the first spot on the 300m returner rankings with her mark of 36.95.
