Defending 2A state champion Jillian Candelino of Bolles clocked a new 5K personal best of 17:16 to win the Alexander Asics Invitational on Saturday, which is the second fastest performance of the season in Florida behind only the 17:15 victory at the North Port Invite by Cambridge Christian's Eliana Black.
