The runner out of Texas pocketed a 14-year-old national record in the long jump on Tuesday, then followed with a blitzing run on Wednesday, capitalizing on another national record for his age group with a wind-legal time of 21.25 seconds in the semifinals at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
Better yet, Jones Jr. will face off against Quincy Wilson, the Virginia-based star, in the finals on Friday.
