Girls Race - Quick Summary
Chelsea Ley pushes the pace early. Megan Goethals, Chelsea Sveinsson, Aisling Cuffe and others close the gap around the half way point. Sveinsson pushes to front with 800 meters go to and looks like she might cruise it in. But Goethals hangs tight and down the final stretch closes in. In one of the most dramatic finishes in Foot Locker history, Goethals wins and throws her arms up in celebration of her six inches of victory, with Sveinsson diving toward the tape in one last attempt! Boys Race - Quick Summary
In the exact opposite of the girls race, Lukas Verzbicas wins in dominant fashion. Craig Lutz gave him chase through much of the race, but it was just too much for him with Lutz fading toward the end. McElroy, Errasa, and others attempted to make up ground at various points but all unsuccessfully to the amazing effort by Verzbicas.
