Seven girls in Florida threw over 130 feet in the javelin this season to create a great competition to who would be the top ranked among the group. Shorecrest Prep's Sonoma Kasica took that honor with her state leading personal best throw of 136'6" to repeat as the FHSAA 1A state champion.
