Michelle Smith (41.56) of Montverde Academy and Zuriel Reed (41.60) of P.K. Yonge battled it for the 2A state title in May for the fastest two times of the season in Florida in the 300 meter hurdles. Next year, both will be back stepping up to the 400 meter hurdles with sub 60 second credentials or capabilities already.
