A year ago, Track Life University, a youth track and field club out of Detroit, Michigan, made some waves at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Humble, Texas.
No one had a bigger week than Kaila Jackson, one of the team's top stars.
The Detroit Renaissance (MI) student-athlete, who recently graduated -- and signed with the University of Georgia over the NLI period -- won three events, including national records in the 100m, 200m and 4x100.
MileSplit followed Jackson over her performances. Check out the profile above.
