The outdoor track season is now complete and we have begun to dive deeper into the summer months. Before you know it, the 2022 cross country season will begin. 

With the Class of 2022 now set to enter the NCAA, there's no guarantee that most superstar recruits will make appearances on the grass this fall.

Some coaches may opt to preserve their current athlete's eligibility in order to go "all-in" for a certain season or to ensure that all of their best runners don't leave at once.

Below, we analyze which standout cross country recruits should (or shouldn't) be redshirted this fall.
