Earlier this week, I sat down to watch the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

As the meet progressed, I found myself recognizing a handful of names who were once former high school stars.

However, the big-time names were arguably the most striking in the 100m prelims: Former high school standouts such as Abby Steiner (Dublin Coffman (OH), '18), Jasmine Montgomery (San Antonio Reagan (TX) '21) and Celera Barnes (Ventura St. Bonaventure (CA) '16) all toed the line for the final. 

Seeing all of these former prep standouts racing at the collegiate level ultimately led me to think: Which schools actually recruit the absolute best 100m athletes in the country?
