Elizabeth Williamson from Academy of Holy Names was one of several freshmen to celebrate becoming a state champion this spring as she took the 2A girls 1600 state title in a 4:54 personal best, while also owning the fastest time among ninth-graders in Florida this season as well at 2:14.
