Just a few days after entering the sub-4 club, Gary Martin earned National Performer of the Week honors on MileSplit.

The senior from Archbishop Wood (PA) earned the Week 8 recognition after nabbing over 67-percent of the vote following his incredible mile time of 3:57.98, which came at the Philadelphia Catholic League Outdoor Championships on May 14.

What's more, that's not even the only event Martin competed in. The Virginia recruit also clocked a winning time of 1:51.29 in the 800m and anchored his team's 4x400 relay in a 49.1 second FAT split.

A big congrats goes out to Gary on the honor.

Now let's move on to Week 9 action.

We had our biggest state championship weekend to date yet. We will recognize a winner every week in this poll, with nominations handed out on Monday. The votes will close on Friday and the winner will be announced the following Monday.
