AUSTIN, TEXAS -- The annual pilgrimage to Mike Myers Stadium is approaching qualifiers from around the Lone Star State. And you better believe they're all going to be ready for the UIL State Track and Field Championships.
For track and field fans in Texas, you can call this the holy grail of the sport.
Because quite honestly, you'll always get something.
The Texas state championships routinely provide some of the biggest fireworks of the season, from late heroics, to last-second kicks, to leans at the line, to down-to-the-last point team battles. As a fan, you never leave disappointed.
We're here for it all, and we will be providing coverage of the meet all week long. MileSplit will have a full team on-site at Mike Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas.
