Good things work in pairs.

On Friday, Gary Martin saw his success double with National Performer of the Week honors.

Less than a week after scoring a career performance in the mile with a time of 4:00.95 at the Explorers Invitational on April 13, the Archbishop Wood (PA) senior and Virginia recruit scooped up the weekly recognition.

Martin scored over 44-percent of the vote, beating out fellow miler Rheinhardt Harrison of Nease (FL) High School.

A big congrats goes out to Gary on his win, and to all the other nominees.

Judson Lincoln, Oakland Mills (MD): He ran his third-straight sub-47 in the 400m at the Urbana Twilight Meet, clocking a U.S. No. 2 time of 46.37. 23.38%
Aiden Neal, Manchester Valley (MD): The North Carolina recruit clocked a U.S. No. 9 time of 1:50.77 in the 800m at the Black and Blue Hopkins Invite. It was a personal best by nearly 2 seconds. 14.22%
Tmars McCallum, Carolina Forest (SC): He won three events at the Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic in the 100m (10.47), 200m (21.48) and LJ (24-11). 3.34%
Isaiah Taylor, Southwest Dekalb (GA): He absolutely obliterated his 300mH PR this weekend at the Region Championships, clocking a time of 36.85, good for a new U.S. No. 9 time. 2.39%
Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan, Woonsocket (RI): The nation's top thrower popped off a U.S. No. 1 mark of 238-3 in the hammer at the New York Relays. He also won the discus. 2.19%
Logan Montgomery, Ridgeland (GA): He popped off a U.S. No. 2 throw of 65-2 in the shot put at the Region 7-AAAA Championships, earning him a place at state. He also won the discus in 171-5. 0.66%
