There's a performance, and then there's a performance.
This weekend at the Volunteer Track Classic in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Bullis School girls (and boys) put down a truly dominant effort across all events, winning the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and the SMR.
On top of all that, Bullis School athletes won the boys and girls 100m, the boys and girls 200m, the boys and girls 400m, the boys 4x200, the girls 800m, the girls 100mH, the girls discus and the girls shot put.
It was an epic throw down, to say the least.
But the races couldn't have come at a better time, either.
Just weeks ahead of the program's high hopes at the Penn Relays, the girls logged U.S. No. 4 efforts in the 4x200 (1:36.63) and 4x400 (3:44.06) and a U.S. No. 14 effort in the 4x100 in 46.41.
