Historic times keep coming for Jordan Anthony.
The Tylertown (MS) High School senior pocketed the eighth-fastest 100 meter performance of all-time on Tuesday on his home track at the MHSAA Class 3A-4 Regional Championships, clocking a wind-legal U.S. No. 1 time of 10.14 (+1.2) seconds.
It continued in a long line of results for the Mississippi star over the 2022 calendar year. Anthony had clocked previous performances of 10.17w, 10.20w and 10.25 at the distance.
Only his performance at the Mobile Challenge of Champions had been wind-legal.
Anthony is now the only athlete in the United States to record a time under 10.20 over the outdoor season.
The defending Nike Indoor Nationals champion in the 60m and 200m followed with a win in the 200m, registering an all conditions time of 21.07 (+2.3).
Anthony currently leads the country with his time of 20.52 from March at the Christian Coleman Invitational.
