Fort Bend Marshall senior Chris Brinkley is in electric form.
On Thursday at the Victor Lopez Classic in Houston, Texas, the Fort Bend Marshall senior and University of Texas signee ripped over the 110 meter hurdles during the preliminary rounds in a U.S. No. 3 wind-legal time of 14.04.
The performance shattered his previous wind-legal personal best of 14.23, which he achieved just last week at the Texas Southern Relays, and cut 0.56 seconds off his performance from a year ago at this same time.
A fourth-place finisher at the UIL Class 6A State Track and Field Championships in the 300mH a season ago, Brinkley has now entered his name into the ranks of top high hurdlers, too.
