A high school all-star team consisting of four Stanford University recruits from different parts of the country -- Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado and Illinois -- ran the fastest 4xmile time ever recorded in high school history and for American U20 athletes, finishing in a winning time of 19:30.12 on Saturday at the Illinois Meet of Champions.

The time will not go down as a high school national record based on the team featuring four athletes from different schools.

The race featured Stevens Point senior Roisin Willis, Cherry Creek's Riley Stewart, Winter Springs' Caroline Wells, and Chicago Latin's Ava Parekh

Willis, the high school national record holder in the 800m and the current MileSplit50 No. 1 athlete, ran the opening leg, while Wells took the baton second, Parekh third and Stewart finished out the relay. The FAT splits were: 4:50.67, 4:51.09, 5:03.62, 4:44.75
