COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS -- It was a solid outdoor debut for St. Dominic Savio Catholic's (TX) Autumn Wilson on Friday in the 100m at the Texas A&M Bluebonnet High School Invitational.
The Georgia signee competed in both the 100m and 200m on the first day of competition and kicked off the day in the 100m by sprinting to a top time of 11.43 (+2.8). Wilson executed a nearly perfect race and will enter the final as the fastest qualifier.
Camryn Dickson of Clear Brook ran the second-fastest time of the day with an 11.67 (+2.9) in the section before Wilson's. Alyssa Tate ran 11.76 (+4.0) to be the third-fastest girl of the day.
Wilson also clocked a 23.66 (+3.3) in the 200m later in the afternoon and will head into the finals tomorrow as the fastest seed.
