Rheinhardt Harrison has set a mission on breaking the four-minute mile barrier.
On Saturday, in the second indoor race of his career at the Tyson Invitational, he ran a career best time of 4:01.15, which is the eighth-fastest time in high school history and a new Florida state record. His dream couldn't be closer.
But Harrison is more than just a runner. Between nearly 10,000 subscribers on YouTube and just under 12,000 followers on Instagram, the Ponte Vedra Nease (FL) High School senior has cultivated a national audience and built connections through creative content and an engaging personality. With a future that includes the University of Oregon, Harrison's future remains bright.
As he finishes out his final year in a Nease High School uniform, he's chasing several elusive goals that he's set for himself. With a handful of records under his name already, the talent backs up the hype.
