The University of Toledo's women's program has landed numerous top-level high school distance talents over the last few months, making the Rockets one of the biggest surprises of this year's recruiting cycle.

However, Andrea Grove-McDonough, Toledo's director of cross country and track and field, hasn't stopped landing targets just yet. 

Earlier this week, Toledo announced the signing of Marina Gross, a Canadian distance talent who hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Gross is a phenomenal athlete and, depending on whom you ask, may be the top signed prospect of this already-stacked recruiting class.

The Canadian distance runner thrives in the 3,000 meters and the 3,200 meters. According to coach Grove-McDonough, Gross has run 9:36 and 10:18, respectively, in those events.

According to her World Athletics profile, Gross has also run 2:14 for 800 meters and 4:36 for 1,500 meters, both on the indoor oval.
