A little over a 100 votes separated first from second in the most recent National Performer of the Week poll.

And this time around, a Texan nabbed the top honor.

Fort Bend Marshall's Chris Brinkley captured the Week 3 NPOTW win after his double at the Arkansas Invitational. Brinkley posted big performances of 48.72 in the 400m and 8.09 in the 60mH to secure two personal best performances.

His efforts led to over 34-percent of the vote and just over 500 tallies. A big congrats goes out to all the nominees and to Chris on the win.

We will recognize a winner every week in this poll, with nominations handed out on Monday. The poll will end on Friday and winners will be announced the following Monday.

Winners and gear from the previous National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance series -- dating back to July 12 -- are still being processed. We have kept track of your information and will email you once the New Balance order goes out. Stay tuned!
