VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA -- Less than a second.
That's pretty much all you need to know about the finish of the boys mile on Friday at The VA Showcase.
The first three boys across the line were separated by less than a second.
Porter Ridge's Jacob Laney secured the win in 4:18.08, while Potomac School's Charlie Ortmans was second in 4:18.13 and a last-ditch effort from Antonio Camacho-Bucks saw the Centennial junior finish third in 4:18.31.
