Throwback: Reed Brown Locks Up Foot Locker Win In 2016

Heading into Foot Locker Nationals in 2016, it was anyone's race to win.

But perhaps from the moment Reed Brown began barreling down that Balboa Park hill, something special was afoot.

The Southlake Carroll (TX) then-senior went on to win the Foot Locker Nationals title in 15:01.80, distancing himself from Finn Gessner down the stretch as he earned the biggest win of his high school career.

Check out race highlights from the 2016 edition above. And check out more stories and contend heading into the 2021 Eastbay Cross Country Championships.
