*Jenna Hutchins won last year's RunningLane Cross Country Championship title in a national record-breaking time

It was just about a year ago that Science Hill's (TN) Jenna Hutchins broke the high school national 5K record at the RunningLane Cross Country Championships.
As a junior, Hutchins ran the John Hunt Park course in Huntsville, Alabama in 15:58.42. She became the first and so far the only girl in history to break 16 minutes for 5K on a cross country course.
This year, Hutchins hasn't competed this cross country season and the senior decided to enroll at BYU early. This opens up the door for many girls next weekend to grab the title.
